Workstation users will also benefit from Intel Virtualization Technology, which allows multiple applications or operating systems to be run independently from each other, and Intel I/O Acceleration Technology, which increases data movement by up to 30%. Alienware is now offering the new AMD Opteron™ processor Model 185 on the MJ-12 7500a desktop workstation, as well as the new AMD Opteron Model 285 processor on the MJ-12 7550a desktop workstation in single- or dual-processor configurations. Equipped with AMD Opteron processors Models 285 and 185, MJ-12 workstations provide advanced dual-core processing and maximum performance per watt to government, business, and creative professionals.
