
Scarpati – The Art of the Album
As an album cover photographer, Scarpati’s career spans 20 years of major-label clients in rock, alternative, pop and country. His resume includes everything from multiple Rush covers to the latest New York Dolls and Clay Walker releases. Scarpati is also active shooting bands like We Are Scientists and The Decembrists for use in advertising campaigns.
For the past three years, Studio Scarpati uses Alienware computers exclusively. Though he could choose any gear on the planet, Scarpati knows he can count on his Area-51 and Area-51M to get the job done, day after day.

Mini Baja
For the first time, Alienware is a National Sponsor of the Society of Automotive Engineers’ Mini Baja events. Mini Baja consists of three regional events in which the top engineering students from around the world go head–to–head in competitions that simulate real-world engineering design projects. Students must design, build, test, promote, and race an off-road vehicle that can withstand the severe punishment of rough terrain. In addition, students are required to generate financial support for their project as well as maintain their educational priorities.


Beatport 2.0 Tour
Alienware is helping to keep the music pumping during the Beatport 2.0 tour, which is making stops around the world in London, Amsterdam, San Francisco,
and Buenos Aires. Beatport is an online digital record store aimed at the dance market that allows DJs to find and buy music quickly and legally. In order to
raise awareness for the launch of the new Beatport 2.0 site, Beatport is utilizing the reliable performance of Alienware notebooks to demonstrate the new site.
Alienware notebooks are also being used during the event to demonstrate Final Scratch 2.0, which allows DJs to play digital music files from any analog turntable
or CD player.
RUSH Tour
Alienware has hit the road with the band RUSH! Derivative produced custom live visuals for the Rush 30-year anniversary tour this summer powered by Alienware Area-51m 5500 notebooks. Rush played 55 shows in North America, the UK, Germany and other European cities.

research, biomedical research, and many other sciences.
The Game Creators | Alienware Programming Competition
In a game programming competition sponsored by Alienware and DarkBASIC Games, no less than 60 Alienware-based game entries were submitted by aspiring game creators. The final results can only be described as outstanding.
Matthias Meyer
Competing in the General German Automobile Association Volkswagen Polo Cup, race driver Matthias Meyer is off to a strong start and remains the title favorite. Alienware provides the computing platform that analyzes the telemetry from the race car driven by Matthias Meyer so that precise racing hardware adjustments can be made to push performance to the limits.
Cyberathlete Extreme World Championships | NovaLogic
Alienware was spotted at the Cyberathlete® Extreme World Championships in Grapevine, Texas, helping to power a massive LAN multiplayer game! Alienware systems were at full throttle as gamers from the Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) played NovaLogics Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising, which allows for gigantic 150-player multiplayer games.
