South by Southwest (SXSW)

Alienware is heading down to the “live music capital of the world.” March 13-22, 2009, Austin TX hosts the South by Southwest (SXSW) Music and Media, Interactive and Film Festivals and Alienware will be there seeking out the world’s best Guitar Hero rock star. On March 13-15, Alienware will participate in the highly-anticipated Screenburn Arcade where top Alienware desktop and notebook systems will be available for some hands-on testing plus a sneak peek of Bionic Commando and Call of Duty: World at War. Come by the Alienware booth at the Screenburn Arcade to play some of the latest titles including Empire Total War and Fear 2. Also check out some favorites like Guitar Hero III and GTA IV.

The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow. The show will take place January 8-11 in Las Vegas and is expected to have over 150,000 attendees. CES will feature 200 conference sessions, 500 expert speakers and will boast over 2,700 exhibitors. Exhibiting categories will include gaming, in-vehicle electronics, digital imaging, information technology, broadband service providers and more.

This year Alienware will join Dell in The Palms Hotel where several suites will be open to press and partners. Alienware will be located in the Retail and Recharge Suite and will showcase desktops and notebooks including the new Area®51 X-58 and the M17.
